AI Workspace
AI Workspace is a business AI-assistant platform: a company's AI agents help its employees with everyday work tasks. With a person's consent, an agent can find, download, upload and edit that person's Google Drive files, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, and Google Calendar events.
AI Workspace uses Google user data only for the tasks a person asks for. It never uses Google APIs or Google user data to create, distribute or facilitate non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated imagery, and does not use Google user data to train generalized AI models. Our commitments on Google user data
What AI Workspace does
Companies use AI Workspace to give their teams AI agents. Each company has its own AI Workspace installation on a separate server, with its own users and agents. An employee describes a task to an agent in a conversation, and the agent carries it out: prepares a document, fills in a spreadsheet, finds a file or plans a meeting.
Connecting Google is optional. When a person connects their Google account, the agent can use that person's Google files and calendar for the tasks the person asks for. For example: “Find the March price list on my Drive, update the prices in the Google Sheet and add a review meeting to my calendar on Friday.” The agent works only within that person's own Google permissions and acts only when asked.
This website describes the Google connection of AI Workspace and publishes its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. It has no sign-in and needs no account: everything here can be read without logging in.
What the agent does with your Google data, and why
You grant access yourself, on Google's own consent screen. Each area below says what the agent can do and why. The Google permission (scope) is named under each area.
Google Drive
Search your files and the shared drives your account can open, view file details, download files (Google files are exported, for example to docx, xlsx, pptx or pdf; up to 10 MB), upload new files (up to 50 MB, optionally converted to Google format), replace the content of a regular file, create folders, rename, move within the same drive, copy and move to trash.
Why: so the agent can use the materials you point it to and save the results of its work in your Drive.
Permission: drive
Google Docs
Read the documents you name, including their tabs, create new documents, and insert or replace text.
Why: to draft, summarize and update documents for you.
Permission: documents
Google Sheets
Read sheet names and the cell values of a range, create spreadsheets, and write values into a range, including formulas when you ask for them.
Why: to analyse tables and fill them in for you.
Permission: spreadsheets
Google Slides
Read presentations, create new ones, add, reorder, duplicate and delete slides, replace text and edit text, shapes and tables on slides.
Why: to prepare and update presentations for you.
Permission: presentations
Google Calendar
List your calendars, read events in a time range you ask about, and create new events. Events are created without guests, invitations, reminders or video-call links. The current version does not change or delete existing events.
Why: to check your schedule and plan meetings for you.
Permissions: calendar.calendarlist.readonly, calendar.events
Your Google account
Your Google account ID, email address and basic profile (name and picture).
Why: to identify which Google account is connected. Your company's installation receives only the account ID, not your email address, name or picture.
Permissions: openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile
The connection never changes who a file is shared with and never deletes anything permanently: files moved to trash can be restored from Google Drive for 30 days. Before a regular file's content is replaced, the connection marks its current version “Keep forever” in the file's Drive version history so you can restore it. For each file it normally keeps the last 20 versions it marked, per company installation and Google account: when it marks one more, its own oldest returns to Google Drive's usual retention. Versions marked only by people or other apps are never changed. If Drive refuses to keep the version, nothing is replaced and the agent saves the new content as a new file next to the original. A file saved, copied or moved into a shared folder becomes visible to that folder's members, as in Google Drive itself. A link to a file does not give access to anything your Google account cannot open. The connection does not request access to Gmail, Google Contacts or other people's accounts.
Our commitments on Google user data
AI Workspace's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Google user data is used only to provide the features a person asks the agent for. It is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- AI Workspace never uses Google APIs or Google user data to create, distribute or facilitate non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated or digitally altered intimate images. Such use is forbidden by our Terms of Service.
- We do not sell Google user data and do not use it for advertising or to decide on credit or lending.
- No person reads your Google data, except with your explicit consent for specific data, when needed to investigate security issues or abuse, or to comply with the law.
- When a task needs an AI model, only the data required for that task is sent to the AI model provider chosen by your company's installation. Our terms require installations to use providers and settings under which this data is not used to train the provider's models.
Details: Privacy Policy, section 5.
How to connect
- Open your company's AI Workspace. Google Workspace is added to agents in the Plugins section («Плагины» in the Russian interface).
- Choose Sign in («Войти»), or open the sign-in link that an agent offers when a task needs Google.
- Google shows its consent screen with the permissions listed above. Review them and allow access. Your Google password is entered only on Google's pages; AI Workspace never sees it.
The connection always starts from your company's installation: that is how it is linked to the right company and person. A personal connection is used only for your own profile in that installation; connections of other people and other companies stay separate.
How to disconnect and remove access
- In AI Workspace: open Plugins → Google Workspace and choose Sign out («Выйти») next to your Google account. The installation deletes its tokens for your connection, and its agents stop using your Google account. To stop only one agent, turn the plugin off for that agent. Signing out does not withdraw the access you granted at Google; the next step does.
- At Google: open myaccount.google.com/permissions, select AI Workspace and remove its access. This ends access for this Google account in every AI Workspace installation.
- Delete stored data: email kochkingrigory@gmail.com, as described in the Privacy Policy. Within 30 days of the request we delete all records the connection service keeps for your account: connection records, upload links and the list of kept versions. The service first removes its own “Keep forever” marks while its Google access still works; versions it cannot unmark, for example after you removed access, stay marked in your Drive. You may manage them in Google Drive (File information → Manage versions) but do not have to.
Removing access stops future access. It does not undo actions already done and does not delete files or events the agent created; you manage those in Google Drive and Google Calendar.
